Wednesday, the new Monday
So, Wednesday was fun.
I woke up around 3, like normal, and went to go hang out with Matt. He said that his abdomen was hurting. He thought maybe it was indigestion, so he tried to come to bed.
Well, I went back into that half sleeping state, and Matt just tossed and turned. Around 5, I asked him how he was feeling, and he said there was still the stabbing pain. After a discussion and him saying he was willing to go to see a doctor (which NEVER happens) I decided it was time to go to the ER.
We walked right in, no wait, and saw the nurse. They put him in a room and pumped him full of some drugs. The pain slowly subsided and he went for an ultra sound.
Turns out, he is full of gallstones. His gallbladder was inflamed (due to the gallstones) and the ultrasound showed that he was passing one – thus the stabbing pain. Because the gallbladder was not about to rupture, they did not remove it, but referred us to a local surgeon. We’ll go see him on Friday.
I got back to work, and it was CRAZY! ADP has taken over. I’ve got so much work to do, looks like I’ll be working this weekend.
