Horse Diving
Today, we will discuss the topic of Horse Diving.

Horse diving was originally popular in the mid 1880′s. It was “created” by William “Doc” Carver as he was crossing a bridge in 1881 and the bridge collapsed (allegedly).
Why discuss horse diving, you may be asking. Well, why not? It became a fixture, and a family act as Doc Carver got his son and daughter involved, in Atlantic City. The horses would …. jump…. from as high as 60 feet.
Apparently, this didn’t go over too well with Animal activists, as you can imaging, which contributed to the decline of this…amazing….act after World War II.
Come back tomorrow and maybe we will discuss Paula Weishoff or Backchat.
