“USG Presidents:

We have received several questions regarding the Governor’s budget recommendation of three additional furlough days.  Those three days are on top of the three days he originally ordered last summer, for a total of six furlough days.

The Board of Regents initially adopted six furlough days last August as part of its budget-reduction strategy.  These six days meet the Governor’s intent.  There are no additional furlough days currently being contemplated at the System level.
